On May 29, 2026, the annual festival “We Are Different, but We Are Together” was held at Probuda-1929 Community Center in Hitrino village. The stage was brought to life by children from the kindergartens and schools across the municipality, who presented original choreographies as well as traditional songs and dances characteristic of the region. The festival featured the participation of Violeta Marinova, a folk singer from the renowned choir “The Mystery of the Bulgarian Voices”, and Bulgaria’s top chef Ivan Zvezdev, who treated the audience and participants to one of his signature specialties.
During the festival, a culinary competition was held, with all community centers from the region taking part. Their culinary creations were evaluated by a jury, and the participants were awarded prizes by Ivan Zvezdev.
The event was supported by Wind Park “Gabritsa”, whose contribution helped make this important local initiative possible.
