At the end of August, Hitrino Municipality once again came alive with some of the most beloved local festivities, dedicated to sports, traditions, and bringing people together.
On August 29, the traditional folk wrestling competitions and horse races were held in the village of Trem. The event brought together participants and spectators from near and far, while the sporting spirit and cheerful atmosphere accompanied the festivities throughout the day.
The following day, August 30, the 12th edition of the traditional oil wrestling competition “Kodja Yusuf” took place in the village of Cherna. Once again, the competition attracted wrestlers and enthusiasts of this traditional sport and became an occasion for the entire local community to come together and celebrate.
For yet another year, Wind Farm “Gabritsa” supported the organization of these events. It is important to us to be part of community life and to support initiatives that keep local traditions alive and bring people together.
We are delighted to have had the opportunity to be part of the festivities once again this year and wish the organizers and participants many more successful events and many years of preserving these cherished traditions.
