On 21 April 2024, the Third Chess Tournament took place at the Local Community Center- “Probuda – 1929” in Hitrino. The event was realized as part of the social program of Wind Park “Gabritsa” in cooperation with the Municipality. 19 participants took part in the tournament. 7 children participated in a chess tournament for children. The youngest participant was 6 years old.
Wind Park “Gabritsa” provided the prizes for the tournament. The winner was awarded with a trophy and the other finalists received medals, chess and backgammon sets, and chess manuals. In addition, everyone received t-shirts from the Municipality. The youngest participants were awarded chess sets and certificates. The awards were presented by the Deputy Mayor of Hitrino – Ilhan Mustafa Ahmed.
